双反射偏光分束棱镜是根据双折射晶体的双反射原理设计而成，是我所设计的一种新型偏光分束镜。其特点是把光的转向和偏光分束合为一体，它既能分束起偏，同时又可使光束转向90°。利用这一特点，在系统设计中当光路需要转向时，可省去一只转向棱镜，从而减少了光的损失和退偏作用，保持好的光束偏振质量（通常偏振光经反射或转向后，其偏振态都要受到影响）。
