近日，南方科技大学环境科学与工程学院副教授Luke Gibson课题组在Nature子刊Communications Biology杂志上发表最新研究。水电开发造成森林栖息地被淹没，对老虎和美洲豹的种群构成了主要威胁，研究结果表明水电站水库可能导致了全球老虎数量的五分之一以上的消失。
